Where our mission is to empower every individual with Developmental Disabilities to thrive, flourish, and lead lives filled with purpose and joy through the use of Therapeutic Consultation.

Therapeutic Consultation

Therapeutic Consultation (TC) is a service provided through the Virginia Developmental Disability (DD) Waiver Program, specifically the Community Living (CL) Waiver and the Family and Individual Supports (FIS) Waiver.

Therapeutic Consultation provides indirect professional consultation provided by specialized clinicians for the purpose of assisting individuals and their supporters with implementing their Individual Support Plan (ISP).

As Therapeutic Consultation is considered an indirect service it will not interfere with any direct services such as: group home, sponsored residential, day support, consumer-directed personal assistant (CDPA), respite, etc.

Therapeutic Consultation may be provided in an individual’s home and other appropriate community settings.
